■Competition

Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Tournaments which specialize for Rooster Division.

There are each divisions: gender / belt / age.

This competition will follow the IBJJF official regulation and rules.

 

■Category

Gender: male / female

Belt: white / blue / purple / brown / black

Age: junior, teen, juvenile, adult, master, senior(1,2,3…)

Note:

Competitors must belong to a proper belt division which corresponds in his recognized belt.

White belt division consists of 2 classes (beginner / intermediate). It is self-assessment.

White-beginner division is available for ONLY adult.

Entry to younger division is available (except junior, teen and juvenile).

 

■Rules

Competitors follow regular IBJJF rules except uniform.

We have a special rule for white-beginner division.

1) Strict scoring for takedown and sweep.

2) No advantage, no referee judge. If the game is draw, we will determine the winner by drawing lots. In finals, both competitors will become winners.

3) In submission holds, referee tends to stop sooner for competitors’ safety.

 

■Match Duration

Follows regular rules.

Note: White-beginner’s duration is 4 munites.

 

■Uniform/Gi

Basically, competitors follow regular rules.

All colors are available, including double colors.

However, uniforms for Karate, Sambo is Not allowed.

 

■Weight-in

competitors will be weighed just before the beginning of the tournament.

 

■How to Entry

Competitors can apply using E-mail.

Please fulfill the entry form and send it to the organizer by E-mail.

If you can not get a confirmation mail within a few days after the entry, please contact the organizer to confirm it by E-mail.

Please be sure to confirm your E-mail setting to receive a response from the organizer (especially, in case of using mobile email address)

 

Note: Either Fax or Post is available. (In this case, you will not receive a confirmation mail from the organizer.)

 

By the next day of deadline, the organizer will put the competitors list on the web. Please confirm your entry.

■Entry Deadline

On or before March 20, 2013

 

■Entry Fee

5000JPY (one tournament)

Payment is required at weight-in in the tournament day.

Competitors can entry both Prize tourney and general. In this case, fee is 8000JPN.

 

■Miscellaneous issues

- After your registration, if you have no choice but to withdraw from this competition due to injury and others, you must contact the organizer immediately.

If you neglect to report your absence, the organizer demands a entry fee as a cancellation fee.

- A tournament list will be released on the tournament day.

- Admission is free of charge.

- BJJF membership card is NOT necessary

- Competitors will be weighed just before the beginning of the tournament. If a competitor can not pass the weight-in by starting tourney, he will be disqualified.

- The organizer can offer belt recognition for an excellent competitor who has no instructor. Please feel free to ask.

- Competitors who win more than 2 times and advanced to the semi-finals will get testimonials.

- There is no drug test.
